The account book, 1866-68, chiefly containing addresses [1880-82?] to the Memphis Conference of the Woman's Missionary Society; the farm journal contains Berkeley's Civil War reminiscences [ca. 1945, of the descendants of Edmund Berkeley and Lucy Burwell Berkeley of Barn Elms. The collection also contains a child's school composition by Bernard Berkeley, "My family and the Confederacy, 1940 June 22."
